Je nai pas ce quil faut pour vous changer dans un
monde bouleversé et á défaut .
Où lon
ne rencontre pour la plupart que des gens faux, voulant souvent
se faire passer
pour des bourreaux.
Cependant
il nont même pas un chapeau, voire des
châteaux .Parfois ils passent toutes leur vie derrière
des barreaux pour des actes canibeaux.
parce quils envient des gens magistraux nayant trop
de bien et de matériaux.
Largent ça coule á flot
chez les matio, car chez eux servent des robots qui répètent
tout comme des jacquots .
Mais entre-temps
Polo lui travail sans repos, perd son temps á faire
le gigolo.
Qui naboutit qua zéro
Tandis que Pierrot va plus haut et certains pensent quil est
sot.
Dit en
lui advienne que pourra, je mène une vie de disco
et chaque jour je couche sur mon dos.
Je m'en
fous pas mal ceux qui essaient de mettre notre
vie en chaos.
Cesse de faire le beau en pensant qu'on est le Tres-Haut.
Car la vie nous reserve des moments phenomenaux.

Born in beautiful Freeport, Grand Bahamas to Haitian
Parents, Mr. & Mrs. Wilson Joseph, Willyne always had a passion
for food. After ten years of residency between Freeport and Nassau,
Bahamas, and enjoying the
delightful food the island had to offer, her family moved to Miami,
Florida. Willyne graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High and
moved on to Broward Community College in pursuant of her Associates
degree in
Business. A year later, she transferred to Florida Metropolitan
University in Tampa, Florida and obtained her Associates Degree
in Marketing Management and will be soon graduating with a bachelor’s
degree in Marketing.
Along side her academic achievements,
Willyne has always had devotion for superior cuisine. She can remember
the long afternoons watching her mom
prepare delectable dishes in the kitchen of their North Miami Beach
home. Love would eventually bring Willyne to Washington, DC. While
working for the Department of Transportation, that same love and
appreciation for her
cooking inspired her to open a catering company. So, as a form of
appreciation of her mom’s hard work and training of her culinary
skills, Willyne decided to name the catering company after her mom,
Elmina. Elmina
Caribbean Catering Services & Event Management, a Caribbean
catering company with a sophisticated flair and full service Wedding
Planning was born!
Willyne is now enjoying the praises from
her clients such as Prince George’s Hospital Center, National
Council for the Traditional Arts, and the Inter-Development Bank,
to name a few. Her delicious and distinctive dishes speak for themselves.
Her dishes are inspirations from her
hometown, Bahamas, her heritage Haiti, and many other influences
such as Jamaica, Trinidad, & Cuba. Her multi-culture enthused
creations are a tantalizing treat for the taste buds as well as
affordable. Willyne can
customize a menu for almost any special event according to your
budget, and taste, and preference. She specializes in Weddings,

Joseph, Minister Counselor,
Chargé d'Affaires, will soon leave the Embassy of Haiti for
the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. During his stay in the Washington
DC area, he made some changes that will continue to affect the Haitian
community at large .

Hall
Food TV Host
As host of Recipe For Success, Marlie Hall is excited to
finally combine her business expertise and television experience
in a fun and inspirational way. After earning a bachelor's
degree in journalism at St. John's University, Hall began
her television career at WLNY-TV. Afterwards, she moved on
to become an on-air news reporter for both WCBS-TV and News
12 in New York City. Hall has also contributed to newscasts
on Black Entertainment Television and WCBS880 News Radio.
Hall earned an MBA in management from
Dowling College and worked as a Communications Specialist
for United Parcel Service before beginning a career in television.
Born and raised in New York, Hall maintains
strong cultural ties with the Haitian Community. She is fluent
in French and Haitian Creole and enjoys reading, traveling,
motivational speaking, and doing volunteer work.
Kwame
Raoul

13th District, Illinois
State
Senator Kwame Raoul was born in Chicago, Illinois on September
30, 1964, to Haitian-born immigrants Janin Raoul, M.D. and
Marie Therese Raoul. His personal commitment to the people
of the South Side of Chicago was fostered early in his life
by the work of his father, who served as a physician to the
Woodlawn, North Kenwood, Grand Boulevard and Englewood communities
for over thirty years. Kwame is a lifelong resident of the
Hyde Park/Kenwood area, where he lives with his wife Kali,
son Che (6) and daughter Mizan (4).
